Blueprint
Privacy policy
The short version
Blueprint reads your contacts, calendars and health data live from the system. It never copies them into a database of its own, and it never uploads them.
Stays on your device
- Contacts and birthdays
- Calendars and reminders
- Health and fitness data
Leaves your device
- Your weather location, to Apple Weather
- The shows, teams and feeds you follow, to the services that supply them
- Anonymous usage counts (TelemetryDeck)
- Feedback, only when you choose to send it
What Blueprint can access
Blueprint only asks for access when it needs it, and works without any permission you decline. You can change these at any time in the Settings app under Privacy & Security (on a Mac, System Settings › Privacy & Security).
What leaves your device
This is everything Blueprint sends off your device, who receives it, and why.
Health data
Blueprint reads health data on your device to show your summary. It is never sent off your device, never stored by Blueprint (in iCloud or anywhere else), never shared with anyone, and never used for advertising, marketing or data mining.
Contacts, calendars and reminders
Blueprint asks the system for this information each time it needs it, and doesn't keep its own copy. None of it leaves your device.
What we never do
- Show ads, or share information with advertisers or data brokers.
- Track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Sell your information.
- Ask you to create an account.
Your choices and your data
Everything Blueprint stores is kept on your device. Deleting the app deletes it. Anonymous usage signals can't be linked to you, so there's nothing about you for us to find or delete. If you've sent us feedback or an email and would like it deleted, ask us and we will.
Children
Blueprint isn't directed at children under 13. It doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children. The only exception is feedback: if someone sends it, we see only what they choose to write.
Changes to this policy
If Blueprint changes how it handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the new version is released, and mention the change in the release notes.
