Upcoming Birthdays
Privacy policy
The short version
Upcoming Birthdays reads birthdays from your contacts on your device, for just the people you choose. It has no analytics and no servers, and it doesn't make network requests.
Stays on your device
- Your contacts and their birthdays
- The people you've chosen to follow
Leaves your device
- Nothing at all
What Upcoming Birthdays can access
Upcoming Birthdays only asks for access when it needs it, and works without any permission you decline. You can change these at any time in the Settings app under Privacy & Security (on a Mac, System Settings › Privacy & Security).
What leaves your device
Nothing. Upcoming Birthdays doesn't collect, transmit or sell any information. Xerodonia never receives any data about you or about how you use the app.
Your contacts
Upcoming Birthdays reads names and birthdays from your contacts on your device, and remembers which people you've chosen to follow. It never changes your contacts and never copies them anywhere, and nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
What we never do
- Show ads, or share information with advertisers or data brokers.
- Track you across other companies' apps or websites.
- Sell your information.
- Ask you to create an account.
Your choices and your data
Everything Upcoming Birthdays stores is kept on your device. Deleting the app deletes it.
Children
Upcoming Birthdays isn't directed at children under 13. It doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If Upcoming Birthdays changes how it handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the new version is released, and mention the change in the release notes.
